Education is one of the most powerful tools for long-term change, and the Green Safaris Conservation Foundation is committed to strengthening it across Likoma Island. Through our Schools Upliftment initiative, we work closely with local educators to improve learning environments and provide essential support where it’s needed most.
In 2024, the Foundation supported six nursery schools by paying teacher salaries, providing nutritious school meals, and supplying educational materials. At the primary level, three schools received teaching supplies and construction materials to help renovate teachers’ houses, ensuring a more stable and dignified environment for educators.
