Project Luangwa
The Foundation supports the impactful work led by Project Luangwa in the communities that make up the Mfuwe area in the Luangwa Valley. Project Luangwa is committed to improving the standards of health and education in for people living in rural Zambia in order to protect and uplift them from poverty.
Project Luangwa is built on the collaboration and organised support formed by several safari operators in the South Luangwa National Park as a part of their commitment to responsible tourism in Zambia. The five main support programs that Project Luangwa and its partners are involved are:
Secondary school student sponsorships.
Gender support clubs, menstrual health resources, and hygiene lessons.
Ufulu sanitary pads for school girls.
Edulution (numeracy skills learning).
Vocational training and small business development.
