IT Upskill
The IT Upskill program was initiated by GSCF to provide an opportunity to the youths within the Islands of Likoma and Chizumulu to attain IT basic knowledge in response to the challenge that they face when applying for jobs that requires IT expertise.
The program sees students graduating with the most basic required knowledge in Introduction to Computer Systems, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access not forgetting Internet package. The future aim will be to engage Primary School Teachers in these courses as most of them lack knowledge on the same; hence they are failing to operate the computers donated to their schools.
