The Women in Tourism Internship Program is a 9-month skills-development initiative by Green Safaris Conservation Foundation and African Bush Camps Foundation. It is designed to support young women from Livingstone in building pathways into the tourism and hospitality sector.
The program combines hands-on lodge experience with mentorship and practical training. Participants learn how day-to-day operations work, build confidence in a professional setting, and explore different roles within tourism. By prioritising women from disadvantaged backgrounds, the program aims to support greater financial independence, improve access to employment, and contribute to more inclusive participation in the local tourism sector.
